Lulubelle, the Spider Monkey - Barbara loves to tell stories about her pet spider monkey, Lulubelle. Barbara had adopted her years ago when the original owner could no longer take care of the monkey and was going to "put it to sleep". Barbara kindly offered to give Lulubelle a new home. Barbara shares memories of how smart Lulubelle was. The monkey could undo any lock and was often found in the neighbor's yard. Barbara says that Lulubelle kept her on her toes constantly. She often becomes tearful when talking about the spider monkey. Lulubelle eventually passed away of natural causes. Barbara loved her very much and misses her greatly. A stuffed spider monkey resembling Lulubelle and a book about a pet spider monkey was donated to Barbara in memory of her very special pet. Read more here!
