General FAQ's
What kinds of dreams are coming true? Click here to find out!
How is it decided who gets their dream fulfilled?
- First of all, the dreamer must live in a facility for the elderly. This can be Assisted Living, Nursing Home, Rehabilitation Facility, Public Housing etc. We work with the facility in finding resources in their local community to make the dream come true.
- The family and attending physician must be notified of the dream before it is fulfilled so that all bases are covered.
- After the list of dreams is obtained in the facility, the dreamweaver usually starts with easy to fulfill dreams first such as a watch or a new dress and then goes to the complex ones that take more time. These are the dreams that may require the community to really get involved in fundraising and planning. Examples of this type of dream are overnight trips or finding a lost loved one.
Is there a cost?
- There is one time fee of $250 for a LIFETIME membership. In addition, you will be billed annually a $25 Benefit Access Fee which will continue your access to all of the benefits of membership including use of the E-Dreams Network. There are also scholarship memberships available if money is a real issue, we never want membership funding to stand in the way of a dream.
